Roderigo couldn't help but laugh at the reaction his Gryffindor friend had when he spoke to him. Who did Brae think he was, the shopkeeper coming to reprimand him for spilling ink everywhere? Seeing the mess Brae was making all over himself and the floor, the Spaniard pulled out his own wand and pointed it at the ink spillage.
"I've got it," he said, fearing that Brae could potentially make the mess even worse. "Tergeo." His wand siphoned the ink from the floor and Braeden's clothes. Placing his wand back into the pocket of his robes, Roderigo leaned against a large wooden beam that supported the shop.
"Well this is my first time in Hogsmeade," he said, looking around the shop. "And I saw this place first. It's really nice." He said. "What about you?" He didn't see Brae as one to collect knickknacks and whatnot. Braeden gave Rod a weak smile when the young Ravenclaw decided to clean up the mess for him. How was it that he always ended up making a mess, and other people always ended up cleaning it up for him? Hmm. Well, now that he thought about it, that wasn't something to complain about… He should be glad he has minions to clean up after him. >:]
"Thanks," said the boy with one of his lopsided grins as he watched the ink magically disappear from his clothes. He set the ink bottle/watch back on the table and grabbed a sand clock instead, watching as its sand changed colours magically.
And then Roderigo explained this was his first time in Hogsmeade.
GASP! "What?!" Braeden couldn't believe his ears. "But--but--but--but--HOW?! Why?!" Ignoring the Spaniard's following questions, Braeden went on with his freak out, "But Hogsmeade is the best part of even coming to Hogwarts!
Don't tell the professors or even our classmates I said that…" He looked around warily. "Where else have you been? Just here? You have to see Honeyduke's!"
