Watching Kurumi behave like that, made Sarah turn sad.
Now why am I sad? Something about this girl made her feel attached to her. She wanted to console her, tell her everything was alright. But then, she didn't know whether it would make her angry. After all, Sarah was a little first year, wasn't she?
