Usually, Kurumi was very bubbly and talkative to the younger students...but her heart just wasn't in it right now.
Her eyes glanced over at the sand dollar cookies and she sighed. When she was little, she would pretend that sand dollars were like real money and that she was a mermaid who had to go shopping at various stores. Her hometown was no where near the ocean, so she had to play make-believe with that too. She was beginning to miss being back home in Japan, which was very unlike her seeing as that place held nothing but negative memories for her.
Sarah noticed that she was worrying about something. She knew Kurumi to be a lively and happy-go-lucky Gryffindor, but now it was a contrast.
