"I'm sorry for confusing you in so many ways" really, he is. He couldn't explain himself any further with why he likes her a lot. "I've admired you from a far mostly" yeah that was it. Jonathan never actually came up to him because he was oddly shy talking to her. He's trying his best not to make a complete fool out of himself. It's been months since he started crushing over Cass. He didn't know when it exactly happened but he saw her once at the common room while he was sitting down and then, the rest is history.
"I actually knew your name when i asked my friend" yeah and it gave her a hard time to think who Jonathan was describing. Well, it was stupid of him to ask a ravenclaw instead of a slytherin. "Quite frankly, i don't know that much about you" well of course he doesn't, Jonathan's not some psycho dude that would stalk Cass. That's just weird.
He just fancies her even from a far. "Sorry" he mumbled that last one. Sorry for confusing her a lot.
Cass' hand flew up to her neck to idly play with the pendant on her necklace but was surprised when she found that she wasn't wearing it. Weird...She would have to find it later.
But, back to the matter at hand. It turns out she had a secret admirer. Which still puzzled her to no ends. But she did find it terribly romantic though. But really? What did she do to deserve the attention? She wasn't even excelling in anything this term just for the reason that she had been too lazy to try harder...
"Thanks." Cass said slowly as she rattled her brains for anything else to say
"But, just a quick question. How could you like someone you don't even know?" Unless his basis for attraction was purely physical of course.
"I mean, for all you know, I could be some harlot who has the worst manners in the world." She said jokingly. Of course, she wasn't a harlot. And she had impeccable table manners.
