But even that question would have sounded dumb ...
Now his head hurt.
Blinking his eyes a few times, wondering if he heard his next question correctly. Where did he sleep? Seemed like a reasonable enough question since ... well Damien was almost NEVER in the Hufflepuff Common Room, let alone the dormitory.
"Ah well," he began clearing his throat before running his hand through his hair. "I've actually been sleeping in the Room of Requirement. It's nice because ... well I can get exactly what I need without having to disturb anyone else."
Like waking everyone including the owls in the owlry with his screaming due to nightmares.
The boy smiled. And then tilted his head to one side, as if pondering on what Damien had said,
"Yeah, I've been there a couple times, to see the Kestrels play, mostly," no, no mostly, just only, because Quidditch had been the one excuse to visit Ireland.
That's what he meant with the question, right? If he's been there? Otherwise, then Treyen knew what country he was referring to. If anyone who went to Hogwarts didn't know where Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales where, well, they'd failed Muggle geography, no?
And did he hear his question correctly? Or had he thought Treyen meant something else by his fair curiosity?
His eyebrows shot up as soon as he ended the explanation.
"WHAT? The Room of Requirement?" he wasn't asking, he was just saying it out loud,
"But that's ridiculous! We have plenty of space in the dormitory!" granted, he didn't know if the other kid was even still attending Hogwarts or not, perhaps he was too quiet for Treyen's taste.
"And you wouldn't be disturbing anyone in the Common Room or dormitory, by the way," they were Badgers, no? Didn't they enjoy company? Hmmm, sometimes. Depends on who joins.
"I can help you set up if you want, or we can ask a House-Elf," they were fairly nice, truth be told.
