Being a student at this school was, with out a doubt, the most exhausting experience Damien's ever had. Especially this year. Between the strange dreams and reading about them in that book ... meeting more new people than he new how to deal with ... But he was glad to have met every single one of them, so far. There were, what seemed like a million more students at Hogwarts and he'd obviously never know all of them. That wasn't his goal.
He wasn't quite sure what his goal was.
Draging his feet through the Entrance Hall after spending a lot of time on the grounds, Damien sighed heavily before running his hand through his hair.
So. Very. Tired.
And then the screeching voices of nearby girls floated through his ears. Perfect. Just what he wanted to deal with on his way back to the quiet solitute of the Common Room. Unfortunately there was no other way around them, either. They seemed to be gathered in some heap, no doubt discussing make-up tipes or 'How on Earth could you wear something like that!' Ugh. It was enough to make any man want to stay single forever.
Treyen was just coming from the grounds, something about wanting to get acquainted with the ingredients he'd need to pick up for Potions had seemed like a perfectly good idea at the time, but he failed to see the downside...he'd have to return and pick them up because he had no container to put them in, nor he could make one because he didn't have anything that could serve as one for a little while, and mixing them with other ingredients just didn't seem right.
So, either way, he was walking back to the Castle, but his pace was rather slow, he was in no hurry.
But something caught his eye. He'd seen that boy before. Back in Moretti's office, or waiting to enter, to be more precise.
"Hey, Hufflepuff!" NICE one Lockhart. He shook his head at that horrible greeting. But how was he going to get his attention if he didn't know the boy's name, right?
"I saw you before, back in Moretti's office," it was best to say it, in case he didn't remember,
"I don't think we've met, are you...new?" he HAD to ask, he was Prefect, he was supposed to know who was in his House, now? Yet he still didn't.
