Kurumi's eyes widened. What secret was Salander talking about? Not that Kurumi kept THAT many secrets from her friends, but there were SOME things that she didn't feel like talking about. Namely involving a certain Badger and some details she had found out about her family.
Panic was written all over her face until Salander spoke up once more. Oh, he was just talking about animals. Phew. Close call.

Growing up, I really only had animal friends, so that might have something to do with it. Animals don't judge nearly as harshly as people do." She paused for a moment to look up at the rafters for any hint of the the timid creatures making their presence known. "

She wasn't so sure that that was much of a secret, or the sort of answer he was looking for, but it was the best she had.
