Kurumi felt as though she were sitting on pins and needles waiting for Connor to speak again. Whatever was going through his mind at this very moment was something very deep and Kurumi could tell from the look in his eyes that it wasn't something that she would be expecting. She gave his hand another gentle squeeze to signal that whatever he had to say it was alright to do so.
When he spoke, Kurumi almost giggled. ALMOST. But she was able to contain her pleasant surprise. "Of course I can," she nodded.
Connor hugged her close and hugged her tight for a moment, His face buried in her neck. It was the hug of a friend in need of another friend. He held on for a moment before sitting back. "Thank you Kurumi." He whispered softly before getting up and holding out his hand to her to help her up. "I appreciate this so much."
