Letting out a sigh again, an exhausted one this time, he eyed her and said "Why do you want me to explain anything? You got everything sorted out with that 'friend' of yours--that I talked badly of you in the first place. Now, leave me alone." Pssh, why bother explaining that he did not say such a degrading thing if she was that prejudicial even at the beginning?
