"If you're all set with your calculations, then you're dismissed but feel free to linger if you need to work on them a little longer or have questions for me. Homework will be posted shortly on the announcement board by my office and will be due in two weeks from when I put it up there." Because despite her not usually giving deadlines, this was a fairly easy assignment and thus a deadline was necessary.
Smiling at Professor Hadley's approval, Roderigo scratched out his unnecessary work with his Eagle quill. He was just checking the time on his watch when Professor Hadley announced that class was over and those who had finished their calculations could leave. With that, the Spaniard began piling his numerous sheets of parchment and began rolling them up. After doing so, he placed the rolled up parchments, his book, and his quill back into his navy blue bag. As he stood up from his desk, he stretched his arms out wide and slung his bag over his shoulder. He looked towards Professor Hadley as she stood at the front of the classroom.
"Great lesson, Professor," he said. "It was really interesting! Have a good evening!" He made his way toward the door and left the classroom.
