Once Professor Hadley had looked over her Pinnacle calculations, Vashti flipped open her textbook and went through the pages until she got to the one with the Pinnacle number meanings. She began jotting down the meanings on her parchment, only partially aware of what she was writing down. She frowned down at her notes when she heard points being taken from Ravenclaw thanks to Ellie. It wasn't too bad really, only a few points, but still. Any points taken at all were not good, especially since they were in third place. But oh well... Nothing to be done about it now.
Once she'd finished checking the meanings, frowning at them too once she read over them as they weren't all that great (especially number seven telling her to be a loner, pffft), she quickly scribbled down the cycle duration stuff for each pinnacle then looked up as they seemed to be moving on. To challenges, of all things. Great.
They didn't seem that, well, challenging, though. What was so hard about simple subtraction? Maybe a tad confusing, what with possible negative numbers and flip-flopping the places of what to add/subtract, but not really all that difficult.
