Like the Pinnacles, there are four Challenge numbers as well, which cover the same years as your Pinnacles, but there is a difference in how we calculate them which is what makes this calculation a bit .... challenging. Can anyone tell me what I mean by this? That is to say, how do we calculate them? Generally speaking."
As Professor Hadley spoke about the correct type of calculation provided by some other students, Riley flipped to the chapter labeled, 'Challenge Numbers' and once she was finished he raised his hand to speak.
"Well professor it looks to me that you do the calculation about the same as the others except you switch the signs and instead of adding you subtract the two amounts you have. Which is a bit strange to me, what happens if you get a negative number?" he asked curiously.

But, back to the lesson. "It's pretty much exactly how you calculate the pinnacles, what with the numbers you use, except you switch the two around and subtract them instead of adding them. Like, for the first number, instead of adding your month of birth with your day of birth, you subtract your day of birth from your month of birth." she said, right after raising her hand. At least, that's what was in the book.
Hmmm a smile. He wasn't asking for anything else, Evelyn and him were just friends. But a bit more to make hot-head Josh jealous would have been fun. He nodded back and then turned to face the front of the room again.
