Simon looked surprise as Lexi turned on him. It seemed the way to be noticed by her was to get her upset. "Me? I was just hear helping Madam Donovan and Mr. Stryker. You're the one acting like I'm not even here. Not to mention acting all high and mighty with your wish never to touch a hammer" he said as calmly as he could. Sighing he took a deep breath not to actually get mad himself but then again she was leaving so it should calm down for if it werent her, it would be him. Helping the staff members was one thing, getting barked at by someone other then the nearby dog was another.

Turning back to Cove, Simon looked appologetic. "Don't mind her, but I appologize for myself." Then realizing her earlier question he added for her benefit. "We were making something special for the library."
