She nodded, and squeezed him back. Kissing him on the cheek. "I will be. I love you, too" She grinned and turned to walk down to her common room. She had a lot of packing to do.

Carter was completely hypnotized by their moment. It was one of those moments that his sister pointed out when she was watching her movies. She always called it romantic. He always laughed. It didn't seem possible to him that anything like that would happen in real life. And here he was living one of those moments.

It took a few minutes after she'd already left for him to find the ability to move once again. When he finally found it he just walked away slowly. It was going to be a long and hard few weeks. But strangely enough he felt fine. And he knew they'd both be fine.
