Not that that would have been fair, it just would have allowed him the ability to try and make better any damage done by the feline. Merlin knew when Shaw would actually give them their wands back. "Thats it Kitty...come for the catnip..." he mused quietly waiting in position almost ready to pounce when the cat was close enough. Once Simon figured it was, he quickly but asd gently as he could scooped up their target into his arms complete with catnip, thankful for his long sleeves to protect himself from any attack as he got up to his feet"...stay for the class." "Shall we...?" he asked looking at Mina. Mina was starting to get a bit impatient with the cat. It was still playing with the catnip. She really thought maybe it would have calmed down or something and maybe come willingly with them. They really didn't seem like much of a threat to the beast and they were being a lot nicer to it than it was being to them. At least, it hadn't tried to claw them or anything to that degree. Cat scratches were not exactly something that she wanted and she had a feeling the beast probably had some sharp little claws. Sharp claws and soft flesh was just asking for trouble.
Moving a bit closer, she watched as the cat got within reaching distance. It had shown signs of being a bit calmer at least and that was progress. Standing back up completely, she smiled as her cousin scooped the beast up. "Come for the catnip, stay for the class. I like it," she nodded as she scooped up more catnip, just in case. "Yeah, let's get out of here before the other cats get any ideas." Who knew what the other cats around there would do to them. |
