Connor smiled and petted the horse. "Aye, that he is. He's a pretty boy and he knows it." He sighed. Maybe that's why he liked the animal so much. They were alike, but in a way different. He smiled softly as she introduced herself. Connor picked up a brush and began gently brushing the animal. "I wish my life were as simple as yours my friend." He smiled as the animal nickered at him. Turning to Heather, "I'm sorry for my behaviour the other day. I was just a little hurt, I felt left out. I only wanted to make you smile."
Apologizing? Why was he-when they were ice-skating? Heather softly smiled at Connor.
"You don't have to apologize, big brother." she said.
"well...partly, i should apologize as well...i was too focused on learning how to skate well without falling." she looked at the animal and watched as Connor brushed its hair, then looked at the boy.
"Look at the bright side...you did make me smile. you always do. Honest." she concluded as she turned her attention back at the beautiful animal.
"C-can i pet him?" she asked.
