After ten years, I can't believe that we're here at this point. I knew I was going to be sad but it's really hitting me just how much these last few days are going to mean to my life. This is the end of our childhoods...it'll be something I'll tell my children about. I still can't believe that this is the last ever Harry Potter trailer we'll ever see in our lives. It's unbelievable how much time has passed yet it only feels like yesterday...oh I'm an emotional wreck!

And these films will end as I've graduated college. This series has followed me through my life, and I don't know how I'm going to deal with it no longer being there.

So excuse me while I cry. Because while I'm excited to see the finale; While I can't wait to see what Dan, Rupert and Emma have in store for us for their last performances as the characters they've come to become in our minds; while I am looking forward to seeing it all come together on the big screen, seeing the Prince's Tale, the battle, Ron and Hermione finally, finally FINALLY kissing, and Harry's happily ever after, I'm not ready for it to be over. It's hard to celebrate what an extraordinary entity the Harry Potter series is and what it has been in my life when I'm so so so sad that it's ending.

God bless you, Jo Rowling. And God bless all of you fans here on Snitchseeker and around the world. Because you've been a big part of my life for years too. <3

Very well said. I couldn't have said it better myself. The books, the actors, the fans on SS, and all over the world have been a part of my life these last fourteen years; I've had Harry with me since I was eight years old too and it's strange to not have him follow me through into my adult years. This really does signify the end of childhood for many people.
