Too bad the hufflepuff hadn't found her earlier because Nika already has a partner now. One that she's not too fond of, but it's not like their going to hang out after this or anything. It was only a class assignment. She shrugged slightly as she opened her mouth to respond. She quickly looked at Sierra and saw that the Slytherin didn't look so thrilled about Isobel asking her. "Erm... Well I've sort of already partnered up with Sierra." She tried to give Isobel an "I'm sorry" look as she rubbed the back of her neck.
Then she turned back to Sierra and listened to her. Nika nodded her head eyeing the dark spot. So the Snake was thinking along the same lines as the Lion. Maybe they could go and ask Shaw for gloves or something because Nika didn't want to risk it. She shifted around uncomfortably as she looked at the spot some more. "Do you think we should take the risk?" If only there was a clueless first year around in need of help. Even though Nika wasn't evil she couldn't help but think of giving a firstie the dirty work. Hey, they didn't have to poke around in the poo last term so this could be a sort of makeup session for them.
Then she had an idea. What if there were some sort of cat poo scooper or something around. How did Shaw expect to clean the cat poo anyways. There must be something in the room somewhere. "Hey do you see a poo-scooper anywhere?" She asked her partner as she started scanning the room.
Sierra gave Nika a smirk of amusement when she heard the girl laugh at the way Eino ran off. Sierra had to admit, it was sort of amusing. The older Ravenclaw boy had been acting sort of strange around her lately--drooling, staring, even clapping for her answers in class. All that because she'd pretty much cheated off him in class. See if she ever cheated off someone again. It had undesirable effects.
Sierra looked from Nika to the Huffepuff captain and back again. With a shrug, she said,
"It's alright with me if she joins us." Six hands were better than four, she imagined, and it didn't look like they were going to luck out and catch a cat anytime soon. With that said, she turned her attention back to what she hoped was the catnip. Did they want to take the risk? Hmm.
"How much more time do we have anyway?" she asked. The corridor was still crowded, so she didn't think Shaw would call them back in with everyone still out trying to catch a cat.
She backed away from the nook and looked at Nika. A pooper-scooper? Just randomly out in the corridor? Did the girl really think those kinds of things were just lying around?
"I don't think so," she answered.
"I usually just cast a spell when I'm out with Hissy Fit." It wasn't like they could do that now, though. She turned back to the nook.
"Okay. I'm going in," she said, shaking her head. Eww. Please be catnip...
