Oh, but he should've seen that coming, because Conan was into books, and he was Muggleborn. Elrond? Really? Treyen would've been shocked if he said that his favorite had been Gandalf. Tolkien probably knew too much, truth be told. But, yeah, the relations between all this and the Snitch...will bring more questions and complains on Conan's side.
"Well, the rings, as well as Goblin-made objects, are forged the Muggle way, at least to my knowledge," because he'd never seen either of those being made, and certainly not the rings in Lord of the Rings. "But they come with a magical trait, so to speak," magical trait didn't mean MAGIC, Conan.
Treyen breathed before he could continue, "Maybe the Snitch is related to that way of making," it made sense, everyone involved in the process was magical, anyway.
Conan frowned for a moment, thinking about it all.
"You do know that Lord of the Rings is fiction right?" he asked,
"Nothing in it really happened. There aren't dragons that hoard gold. And there aren't elves that use bows and arrows." Did anyone actually believe that these things existed? This was what confused him about this place. They believe all these things existed, but they had no proof. It must secretly be a mental home, for crazies that hallucinated. Then why was he here? He would question it later, for the 90th time this week.
"The rings are elven. Not goblin made." But it had the same point though right?
"So you think that a snitch is made in the fires of a volcano, while incantations are uttered?" Made sense. Sort of. He'd find out when he looked at the books. Maybe he could make snitches. That would be amazing.
