Jonathan gave a laugh. The girl probably felt scared when he asked that question but Jonathan loves teasing. Plus, Jonathan didn't mean any harm with that joke.

Seeing her as she struggled with brushing the snow on her clothes, Jonathan decided to help her. He brushed the shoulder areas where the snow looked like hair flakes. Which is really not a good sight, but then again, snow can melt.

After helping her out, she introduced her name. Nika. That's a cute name. Jonathan looked at her, she seemed to be alright now. "nice meeting you Nika" did he pronounce that one correctly? Jonathan gestured for a handshake. "Winter's quite slippery, you should be careful" she told the girl.

Oh yeah, he almost forgot "What year are you in?" his eyes narrowed. thinking that she couldn't be a first year, probably a second or third. She's definitely not older than he is.
