And pirates are not just wizards of fairy tale, they were real wizards that the muggle world dealt with for many generations and, even today, the muggle world is still fascinated with the idea and magic surrounding the pirating community. Some of the pirates were working for good causes in the end, but some were just crooks. They weren't all great examples of wizards to look up to, but they did shape our history, especially in the muggle world.”
She smiled at the students, “I mentioned earlier the pirates that were linked to the magic schools, including Hogwarts. We know of Davvy Jones possibly being linked to Durmstrong through their magic ship and of Barnabus the Bloody being seen close to Hogwarts. Can anyone guess what their agenda, or reason/cause, was that could possibly have linked them to the schools?” she asked the students.
