Simon sat quietly as Vindictus starred at him, almost fiddling with his hands in his lap at the attention. But he wasn't too interested in asking if he could leave since they weren't talking any longer awaiting what was to come in near military obedience.
"Aye Captain!" he said when the Ravenclaw gave him leave, getting up to his feet more quickly then he might have normally even with the wish to get away from the ackwardness. The Gryffindor making a face when he realised what he had said. "Sorry...professor," he corrected before heading towards the door, opening it and leaving the office.
Hopefully whatever was up was going to wear off real soon.
