Yes, and he seemed completely uncomfortable standing here, better not make him go outside. Or not today, maybe when the snow was close to melting, so Conan would be able to enjoy it, but wouldn't be too cold.
He still smiled and sat on one step, he wasn't heading out if Conan wasn't, and they knew he wasn't taking one step closer to the Courtyard.
"You may join me," he said, gesturing next to him. He'd better sit. "Actually, Conan, would go to Hogsmeade if there's snow falling down?" he asked, eyes on the boy.
He clutched his arms to his chest. He would start shivering soon. He would definitely have to curl up by the fire after he was done out here. If only...

"Like on that step? Sitting down?" But his bum would get cold. He could warm that up by the fire too. Toasty warmy. Oooo that would be nice. Maybe on the step for a minute. Then he could spend an hour in front of the fire.
"I can't go to Hogsmeade. Ellie says next year. And you should come too. Ellie is gonna make sure I don't get lost."
