It was kind of hard to explain.. Emma didn't know how it happened. It was just a feeling that grew stronger over time..

Emma laughed slightly. "Definetly more than friends." she added agreeing with him and nodding. Emma smiled began to falter to. "No. No matter what happens I don't want it to ruin our friendship, I promise you," she said, promising him with all her heart.

Hmm.... This was tricky.. So in a way they were dating and in a way they were good friends? She bit her lip as she tried to think. It seemed that he didn't want to risk the whole dating thing but it could end up well for them. Never mind, better to be safe than sorry. "Hmmm.. You know.. I have no clue. How about remaining special friends? In a way we don't have titles but we're kind of 'together' yet still friends.. If that makes any sense.. What do you think about that?" she explained and then they could see what happened from there.
Braeden's eyebrows got lost in his hairline, once again, as Emma explained that she had started just being nice, but eventually ended up falling for him. Wow. Exactly how he'd managed to have such a beautiful girl fall for him, Brae had no idea, but he certainly wasn't about to complain. Psh. He deserved a pat on the back for this catch.

The boy couldn't help smiling then as Emma assured him their friendship wouldn't be ruined. Good. He needed to hear that. And he trusted Emma, so chances were… she would keep her word. Nothing would go wrong with their friendship. And that was a comforting thought for the boy.

As Emma suggested then that they be 'special friends', Braeden put on a thoughtful face for a moment before grinning like the doof he was. "I think I'd like that," he confessed. So he got to keep Emma's friendship AND kiss her and hold her hand and that sort of thing… YAY. Without another word, the boy leaned in toward his 'special friend' again, this time kissing her on the cheek. As he pulled back, he flashed her another smile. "I like you, Em."
