Were they in for a busy summer, or what? Destiny had no recollection of how they even decided to do all this stuff, but she was excited. Eying her friend as she shifted the basket of cabbages, Destiny snorted to herself. That was the reason she was going to collect the things for their raft. She had no arm muscles. "Why don't you just levitate that?" Or they should have gotten the house elf to carry it for them. GAH! She didn't think.
And she didn't think that she really should have dried herself before deciding to go outside. It was cold and her hair was going to freeze. But that was all forgotten about that once Mia told her she never heard of a sea cabbage. She received a look of DISBELIEF. "It's a cabbage." Obviously. "And it grows in the sea. Sea cabbage."
Mia too was thinking about all the stuff they had planned over the summer and she hoped that Nik didn't mind that she was running off for a couple of weeks with her crazy friend who was certain to get her into a fair amount of trouble. So long as they didn't get arrested then Mia didn't mind what kind of crazy they got up to. And if they were going to be spy's then they should not get caught doing anything.
"Wow spy glasses sound awesome. Do they have x-ray vision? Now that would be cool." And apparently Destiny hadn't figured out that Mia had seen spy movies and knew what their equipment looked like.
Yes. Why didn't she just levitate the basket? Because she was so used to doing everything the muggle way. Taking out her wand she gave it a little 'swish and flick.'
"Wingardium Leviosa." Yep that was so much easier.
