Marie waved back to the guy who waved at her. She hadn't seen much of him before.

The same memo was promptly balled up and tossed into the rubbish bin by the door.

Marie looked up as her Department Head had walked into the room. She cleared her throat.
"I agree with most people. I think we should just do everything up a little. It would be good too", she explained.
