Except for the eye thing. She looked over at the girl, and realized it wasn't her.
It was the boy. SQUEE. He was cute. Except, again, older. She looked back to her book and flipped a page to continue reading.
She was busy. Alfie entered the Great Hall, immediately finding herself intimidated by the size of it once more. Honestly, how many students did they have?! She shook off the intimidation and quickly found the Ravenclaw table, a place she'd been sitting alone at for the past few days. So...she hadn't made any friends yet...so what? Alfie wasn't exactly dying to become Ms. Popular, but..someone to talk to might've been nice. It was then that she spotted a girl sitting alone, who looked to be around her age, maybe a year younger or so, reading a book. Normally, Alfie would've just ignored this and sat alone but...if she was ever going to meet anyone, she had to put herself out there.
Ambitiously, Alfie took a seat right across from this girl, setting her bookbag down on the bench beside herself before allowing her blue eyes to drift towards the girl across from her. She opened her mouth for a greeting and then realized the eyes that could be felt staring at this side of the table. She looked over only to find two people glancing over at this girl every once in a while. "Do...you know them?" she asked with a weak smile, quickly diverting her gaze from the obviously older students and focusing on the girl before her, who she still hadn't met. |
