Kurumi simply stared at Selina not sure if the girl was losing it, or if she was just teasing. It took a few moments of careful observation before Kurumi came to the conclusion that Selina was not going insane.
"Oh, so this door's name is Bill then?" she asked gesturing towards it with her thumb. "I thought you were going to be on the look out for them to enter my life."
Then, Kurumi too burst into fits of laughter along with Selina. It felt nice, just the two of them laughing and being the young spirits that they were. It was only a matter of time before they had to turn their serious faces back on.
"Of course he's Bill. This is my cousin Bill. So be good to him. You know doors like this don't open in your life all the time," she giggled and continued, "Then again it didn't really open for you either."
The laughter that was shooting from both girls felt so nice to Selina. The older she was getting the less often she had to be carefree. At twelve she felt like life was so serious. She just wanted to run away from all of her troubles and just have fun. Play Quidditch, the flute, learn to surf. She just wanted to have fun. She just wanted to be twelve. But fate and the future had other plans.
