She didn't move a muscle. Just her eyes were moving. She watched the lion girl's each and every movement, her lips pursed. She tried to possess herself but it was really hard. She closed her eyes as if praying for patience but that was the boiling point apparently. First, that idiot Huffie and now that girl. She took a deep breath and reached out to hold the young girl's arm rather lightly. Clenching her teeth, she bended over the little girl and hissed: "Look girl, there's something you should have learnt by now. Do not mess with a Slytherin. Especially in the dungeons. It could be the last thing you would do before opening your eyes at the hospital wing." She threw a filthy look at the lion girl. She was a little girl indeed and maybe she didn't deserve such an attack but all the things having happened til that moment was a sort of summation and... Ooh, whatever...
Nika knew that the moment she hugged the older slytherin that she would regret it. Yet, it didn't seem to stop her from the sudden hug attack. She watched the third hug victim carefully hoping that she wouldn't explode because by the looks of it she was about to spontaneously combust.
Wait for it.....
Wait for it.......
Nika shut her eyes tightly so she wouldn't have to witness the explosion. After a few seconds of silence she quickly opened an eye. When she saw nothing was happening she opened the other. PHEW. Maybe this slytherin wasn't against the idea of hug-a-slytherin day. Oh wait-
Don't mess with Slytherins? Ah, but it's so much fun! Ouchie the hospital wing? Well this girl definitely has some anger management issues. Maybe she should go and see a counselor or something... Yeah Nika would gladly go and find her one of those. The look. This girl who Nika has yet to know the name of gave her
"the look". The filthiest of "the looks" that Nika had ever seen. Wow. She meant business alright. Well listen hug attack victim, Nika Adler is not afraid of you. Even if she very well should be.
What should Nika say? The second year lion stood there in silence for a good minute trying to think of something to say. Well she could say something that would land her in the "hospital wing". OR she could slowly walk back away, but that would just make her look like a gutless coward.... She looked around at the other lion for help, but he didn't really seem like he would speak up for Nika at the moment. Her eyes met those of the younger snake Sierra and she was looking "smug". Nika was a bit confused. Lost for words. She didn't mean any harm. Only wanted a few hugs, that's all. Now she landed herself in a lot of trouble with no way out of it. Great.
"Didn't think you would take it that far." She said suddenly looking at the older snake with her eyebrows raised.
"It was only a hug, not the end of the world." Jeez. One hug and you think a bomb has been set off or something. Well now Nika is only asking for more trouble, but the poor second year had never been in this situation before. Tons of snakes surrounded her and for all she knew they had backup on the way. How to get out of this mess before something bad happens...

Sierra questioned. Well, no wonder she'd been randomly hugged twice. The Puffers and Gryffindors didn't have a disorder--they'd just gone crazy. "Oh, so...this is only going to last a day?" Thank Merlin! If she had to endure a year's worth of random hug!attacks, she might just hide out in the dungeons until the train rolled around again.
Nika nodded. Yes, hug a slytherin day. What a fun day indeed. If only all of the speeches from the angry snakes could be a little shorter then Nika might have time to get to all of the slytherins in Hogwarts. Merlin knows how long that would take if all of them had to put up a fight like these ones.
"Mhmm. One day only. Hence hug a slytherin day." she said emphasizing the last word.
"Unless... unless we decide to extend it." Extend? Where had she even gotten that idea from... Nika was just throwing things out at this point.
