Hey ~Otty. How fantastic! I loved every bit of both new posts.

~Bonnie Tyler (Holding out for a hero)
I've had this song in my head now since Thursday thank you very much.
Good thing I like it so much. And what a perfect song to fit this ff at the moment. I must say, you always have the best posts for us, accompanied by the best songs to put us in a mind set for the story at that moment. I know, I know... there have been a couple without songs, but look we survived. I do enjoy them though.

Clearly the situation had reached what in some circles would appropriately be called a snafu (can I say that here?) and the whole thing had become something synonymous with a word rhyming with food bar.
I've always wanted to find a way to use this word, but couldn't come up with a really good time to use it. Fits perfect here I think.

But Ottery was famed for his grave circumstances, everyone knew he lived on that edge. He sighed he would wait to play his hand, as he watched from the shadows, perhaps now was too soon.
I knew there was a method to his madness, a reason for his rhyme, and anything else that could define Ottery doing what he's best at. Living on the edge. Defending justice for all requires one to live that way, or they aren't strong enough to live up to the challenge presented. Ottery and his gang are up for the challenge and I can't wait to find out what Ottery has in his reserves.

Wondering who this is. And NO, just because Harry is my hero, I know it's not him.
) I do have an idea, but I will have to wait.

The overriding instinct like that of the wolf one of undying respect, affection and loyalty to the alpha of the pack in this case the pretty girl standing next to him.
Bravo! Loved this! ^

Diego had kept an eye on the human guests and the goblins and monsters and elf slaves hiding in the shadows but whoever that boy was in the shadows he was no vampire and he was no one he recognized.
Go Diego, Go! (Do I have to give credit to some cartoon for saying that?
)

Cerberus was neither slow or a bad shot, so that could be the only explanation and that was not hubris as the many dead vampires around him proved it. Sooner or later their paths would cross … and a smile flickered on the boy’s face. He would clearly make a worthy opponent.
Can't wait till their paths cross. But, they are on the same side right? Just agendas of their own.

"You really don't want to be ticking me off!"
They'll get their come upens.
~Otty, from this point on, I was no longer cheering the gang on, and pumping my fists at the bad guys as though I was really helping. From here on I was holding my breath, and so scared for Ottery! Super writing to take us to light hearted quips from our heros, but getting the serious fighting going on, to the desperate situation that time really might be running out for our wonderful Ottery. And how dare Evangeline slap Ottery not just once either!
Quote:
"Don't worry Teddy it's all going to be all right ... I mean ... right?" Ottery said, as Evangeline grabbed his hair and held his head back. She dragged him towards the Dark Lord of vampires, kicked him behind his knee and sent him crashing to the floor. “You know normally this isn’t how my dates go …” she stood in front of him and slapped him hard across the face.
And honestly ~Otty... this nearly made me cry. I'm serious!

“Ottery!” Teddy yelled.
“It’s all going to be okay … I’m always … improvising … on the … on the … on … the fly.” The boy said slumping forward.
Two vampires ran over and picked him up, holding his arms back they held his weak form feet firmly planted at his knees. Evangeline walked over again and pulled his head up by his hair.
"You will be all right Ottery, as soon as you drink our master's blood," Evangeline whispered sweetly into his ear.
Dracula pulled back his cloak to reveal a pasty white arm and running a long dark nail across it he cut himself. A thin snaking trickle of thick dark red blood began to run like a river.
"Now drink," Evangeline said shoving his mouth towards the open wound where Dracula's blood seeped out.
"You all ... don't have ...Coke or ... Mountain Dew?" the boy asked struggling to keep his head back with the last of his strength.
The clock struck midnight.
The boy's lips grazed the wrist of the Dark Lord his blood tainting the dark haired boy's lips, and everything happened all at once ...
Thank you for this. I was nearly over the edge with grief and despair.
Quote:
"Lord, the dragon!" a vampire ran into the hallway screaming. “Its gone insane … burnt a whole squad of goblins into crisps and now its coming here. Trying to bore through the castle.”
Love it!
And I loved all the rest of the chapter too. But, I don't know how much these windows allow. So, I won't highlight anymore of the ff. Just this:

Next post, people start dying. If I kill off characters then I can't write them anymore ...
Be nice.

I want this fic over so I can get on with the story ... you know? *sighs* Whatever. I'm working on this ending until I die or this story ends ... aaaaaaaaaaargh.
I'm looking for a great ending appropriate for the greatness of the story. But I'm not wanting ~Otty to die doing it.
You have the strength to carry on. Does it help to know that you bring so much enjoyment and pleasure to those of us who read this? Cause you really do with your heart and soal you pour into it. I'll be watching for your next post. Great work ~Otty
