Ari glanced at the drawing briefly and frowned a bit, thinking it looked like a scary mannequin, but then Gwen covered it. Gosh, she must've noticed I was looking, Ariadne thought. Focusing on the question instead, the Gryffindor answered: 'Lots of things. Besides classes, I'm researching my family tree at the library with a friend, I'm exploring the castle with another friend, I just went to Hogsmeade for the first time...' the girl narrated. 'What about you?' she asked, and took another furtive look at the drawing, which looked a lot better now. She smiled.
Do I want to pursue this in the future? ‘Hmmm,I dunno. I mean, I do like it, but I am totally into medicine.’ the girl replied. And that was kind of it…
‘Would you be surprised if I told you I did quite the same?’, Gwendolyn told her and grinned.
‘Well, except the family tree, I mean, I know the important members of my family, and I don’t want to find out about some lunatics that prove to be my relatives. Just not in the mood for it.’
She made a short break, just to be sure she wouldn’t do something wrong to the portrait, and then continued.
‘And I do love Hogwarts. I started exploring it in my first days around here. I think I haven’t even seen a quarter of it…It is huge!’
After a short break, in which she added some details to the portrait, she started talking again :
’I was indeed impressed by the castle.’
After having said that, Gwendolyn remembered the thing she thought was ruining the image of Hogwarts…that silly tapestry.
‘Have you seen that tapestry with the dancing trolls?’, the girl asked.
