He looked at Tayla's bowl hoping that hers would be more pleasant "Yeah that looks like a mask and some sort of flower. So from the list it means something hidden... something lovely or love related needs to be revealed?" he smirked at the young one. "You got an admirer already?" Kids nowadays, the only thing he admired at her age was the plan of how to get even with a bunch of school bullies.
Tayla glanced between Salander's cup and the list.
"Yikes...neither of the two mean good...maybe that's not a dagger or a knife? Maybe it's a...a...candle? Yeah, sorta looks like a candle from this angle..."
Tayla blushed when Salander teased her.
"No way! I don't have an...a-admirer." Tayla gave a small chuckle.
"I actually think the symbol refers to this locket of mine. My grandmother gave it to me two years ago, but I haven't been able to open it."
Tayla got a sudden idea. Remembering the spell she and her friend Ari had found in a library book, she decided to ask Salander,
"Sal...do you like Charms?" Tayla continued looking at her bowl though. The blobs were changing shape again. Now it looked like some sort of animal. An octopus maybe. Tayla shrugged. Divination wasn't a branch of magic she liked so much.
