Ivan rolled his eyes and made a rude gesture at James before practically chugging the glass of water. But oddly enough he was STILL hungry. "I always give you a hard time James."
He glanced between James and Neptune then back again with a smirk and busied himself with a piece of toast. "Sooo....enjoy your birthday James?" Heheheh.
Jim had to force his hand not to clench under the table as Ivan joked around with Neptune. All good. All good. He reached out and picked up his glass of OJ. Nothing wrong here. Mhmm. He grinned a bit but it faded and was replaced with curiosity at Ivan chugging his water. Hmm. Okay.
"Yeah you know I love it."
He put his glass down and then sloooowly turned to look at Ivan.
Stare.
"You know I did. It was epic hanging out with you guys down by the lake and all." Epic. Lets just hope nobody mentioned that he'd disappeared after a certain point of the evening.

Merlin! She should probably go back to her common room or something. Her friend was a very bad influence on her. And totally confusing her with all his hypothetical talk. "Yeah well you still couldn't make me talk to him if I didn't want to." Which she didn't. Not yet anyway.
"No problems at all Ivan." she said waving her hands in an airy gesture and laughing softly. But that laugh quickly faded when she took in the look on his face. Maybe they should do something?
Well apparently he was well enough to do that. "Ivan! There are ladies present."
"Mi, they can tell by looking." He grinned at her.
Hmmm he could, he was sure, but he wouldn't. He wasn't a meddler. "You're right." He agreed easily.
Heeh. Ladies. Well, Jimmy supposed that he'd call Mia and Neptune that, at least he respected both of them, which he suppose was what made a guy consider a girl a lady and not just.... something else.
