Zara watched as the wavy line before had joined in with another of the drops of oil. Now it was thickening, into something like a square-ish rectangular-ish thing. 'A box--well there wasn't any box? So maybe a cube--nah there wasn't one either? A door--an opening or closing? An envelope--an incoming message? AHH, what was this?!' She sighed and rested her cheeks on her hands that were on the table. 'A table?' she gave it one last thought, but realized that the table might need some stand so it wasn't it. Frustrated a bit, she decided to ask the help of the professor. Clearing her throat, she sat up straight and raised her hand.

"Professor I don't get this rectangular-ish symbol. It can be almost anything." Zara pouted. "See? A door, an envelope, a table, a book.." She gave up eventually there was too many possibilities, but she hoped Professor Bishop got the point.
Still half-focused on the situation with Selina, Renée turned slightly as she heard another voice asking for her help and sent a smile to Zara. That truly did seem to be a bit of a dilemma, if the image wasn’t clarifying itself to the young Gryffindor. Stepping slightly over to the girl’s table, she glanced down at the oil floating in the bowl and tilted her head slightly as she considered things. The little blob was definitely vaguely rectangular, but beyond that it seemed to be resisting clarification. “Hmm,” she replied. “It’s not a table, but beyond that I can’t say what it is or isn’t. Did you have any other symbols, which might clarify things?” Obviously, she’d been looking for a while before calling her over, so there was the possibility she wasn’t getting all the information. She was still a bit distracted, but she was managing to keep most of her focus on Zara’s dilemma.

It was plump and looked quite comfortable and familiar. The chair was very familiar, as was the girl. Like a snap the whole vision faded into focus. It was Selina sitting upright in a chair in the Gryffindor common room. Her eyes were glazed over and she was not moving an inch. Selina knew what was happening to the Selina in the vision. She was having a vision about a vision.

Then a loud rush came from the stairs and a voice called out Selina's name. She did not even.need to see the face to know who was beckoning her. An instant later Kurumi flew down the stairs and landed with a thud on the landing. In her hand was a box of cookies. She spotted Selina and made her way over to her, "Okay so I want you to try these. Be honest, it was a new recipe and before the general public gets them I need your opinion." But Kurumi was met with silence so she pressed on, "Look I know you're still mad at me, but I said I was sorry. Besides I really am sorry Sely..."

It was then she noticed Selina was engulfed in a vision...

...she also noticed Selina was NOT breathing.

Kurumi began to freak out and shake her friend, "Please don't be dead! Selina look at me! Oh Merlin wake up!" Kurumi began to sob and the vision ended.

Only then did Selina rejoin the present. Her own face was wet with tears and she muttered, "Oh my God."

The vision looked like Selina was twelve.

Kurumi tightened her grip on her friend's shoulders as she waited for some kind of sign that she had come back from whatever journey she had embarked on.
SPOILER!!: SELIIIIIIIIINA! NOOOOOOOOO! *vader yell*

After what seemed like an eternity to Kurumi, Selina finally came back. Kurumi's hair had already begun turning a shade of deep turquoise. Worry written all over her face as if someone had taken a thick black marker and literally written it on her forehead, Kurumi looked into Selina's eyes and felt something wet splash against her hand.

It was then that she noticed Selina was crying. She wanted to freak out, flail her arms, and ask the girl what she had seen, but Kurumi was able to compose herself enough to simply reach into her pocket, pull out her canary yellow handkerchief with pink rabbits on it, and turned to the second year.

Smiling bravely, although her eyes couldn't lie what she was really feeling, she began gently dabbing Selina's cheeks. "Y-You got a little too close to your bowl and splashed yourself with water," she laughed nervously.

Leaning in a bit as she continued to dry her friend's tears, Kurumi lowered her voice to a whisper. "Do you need to leave? I am sure Professor Bishop will understand..."

Selina lifted her head up to see that Bishop was standing by and the Kurumi had told some lie that Selina had splashed her face with the water from the basin. Her mouth let out a sigh of relief, she didn't have to explain anything to anyone in the class. Not like they had noticed that she had gone under. Kurumi always did an excellent job of concealing her when she went into one of her visions.

Finally calm she looked up at Kurumi and said, "Thanks, you know me. I'm only coordinated when I'm flying." Her voice hitched a few times when she spoke, but she needed to stay strong. She had to or else she was sure to have a mental break down.

Then Kurumi whispered something to Selina and Selina shook her head that now hung low. "No... I'm fine. I, um, swear. I just... need to make it through the class. Then we can talk." She looked at Professor Bishop and said, "Then we all can talk if you want."

Before she could get an answer, though, it seemed Selina’s situation had resolved itself for the time being. Even though Renée knew quite well that this was neither the first nor the last time the redheaded Gryffindor would go through it, and she at least had to be proud of Kurumi for how she’d dealt with it all. She knew Selina didn’t want the focus on her, so after glancing back over, she simply nodded to show she’d acknowledged the girl’s inclusion of her in the directive. There was always her office, as that would be more private than the classroom.

Returning her attention mostly to Zara, although she’d sent nods toward both Eino and William as they spoke to her again, she waited for a few moments more before raising her head to include the whole class in her next statements. “Okay, everyone. Let’s keep trying for a few more minutes, and then call it a day,” she said. There were still several students who looked to be continuing their readings, at least, and she figured there was enough time to hopefully let them finish up. Not to mention the mystery of Zara’s rectangle, which she was still hoping they could solve before the lesson was over. She could only drag it on so long before they’d need to be off to the next lesson, after all.

ooc: I think I'm going to try and wrap things up later today. ^.^ Since other lessons are going now too.
