Quidditch was her passion and now she got to play for the team the second year in a row.
She resisted the urge to run, skip, and sing because it might have ruined her tough persona. But she could feel her excitement boiling over at the seams. Could you blame her? Quidditch was the best part about her days at Hogwarts.
With a confident smirk spreading its way across her face, Sierra Greingoth made her way from the Quidditch pitch and closer to the castle. She was rarely seen out and about on the grounds, as it just wasn't in her nature to be
that sociable, but today she had an extremely good reason to be outside. Rosters had been posted earlier today, and of course she'd headed straight for the pitch as soon as class had let out.
...and there it had been--her name, right on the parchment just under Evelyn's. Sierra had been slightly worried she wouldn't make it, yet she'd never let that be known to anyone. Nope. No one at all. The only thing that could possibly bring her down now was the fact that Lola Jones had made the team, too. Lola! Hmph. The girl just
better be good in games. She was actually pretty good at tryouts--even Sierra had to admit.
She glanced up just in time to see a Gryffindor girl walking just up ahead. She'd seen her in classes, hanging out with
Hollingberry, but she still hadn't managed to catch her name. She didn't care to catch the girl's name either. It wasn't like there would ever be any need for them to hold conversation, right? Right. So Sierra looked down to her feet as she walked, trying not to meet the girl eye-to-eye.
