Seeing the Ward woman stand and wait to be led to the back, Alexander took one last look around the work area, nodded toward Ward, and then turned on his heels. He was less than enthused about the new Minister of Magic arriving, yet when the man did appear on level one, he at least wanted to look busy. Not because he was intimidated by the Borr man, though, but because if he was busy, he lessened his chances of being spoken to. Then if he lessened his chances of being spoken to, he lessened his chances of being spit on, as the Borr man tended to do when talking with others.
