He was the Charms professor after all. “The Water Charm?,” she asked gently. It was entirely possible the first year could have difficulties. “You seem like you have the incantation right, but you’re trying a bit too hard with the wand movement,” she continued. it seemed none of the other students had noticed his plea for help, so it was up to her. “Like this,” she said, pointing her wand toward the empty bowl simply. “Aguamenti,” she said, focused on the incantation, and water started flowing from her wand. She stopped it after only a few inches had gathered, though. “Why don’t you try again?,” she then suggested to Daichi. She may not have been the best to teach him the charm, as she mostly just intellectually understood how it worked, but hopefully he’d picked something up. She had other students to help, in the meantime.
Daichi looked around him as students were already writing down their shapes that they see in the bowls. He sighed and was about to lower his hand when the Professor walked to him. Rescueee!
The first year nodded a bit shyly when she explained what he was doing wrong. He had never used the spell before but he had heard of it. In potions class they had to use the spell but someone else had helped him. Daichi watched, transfixed as the Professor performed the spell. He carefully watched the wand movements and noticed that his previous movements had been a bit too agressive. He watched with twinkles in his eyes as she filled the bowl with water but his twinkles died when she only filled it a few inches. Mweh couldn't she fill the whole bowl? It would be much easier to Daichi.
He was still going to try though.
"I think i get it.." better than saying i have no clue , right? The first year grabbed his wand and pointed it at the bowl. He concentrated his thoughts on the charm and made the same movement the Professor had done.
"Aguamenti" His hopes had been too high because nothing happened again. But he was NOT giving up!
"Aguamenti!" this time something DID happen, a few drops of water leaked from the wand. Daichi smiled broadly and tried again , more focused now.
"Aguamenti!" Water flowed in to the bowl and Daichi literally squealed at his success.
"I did it~!" he said to ..well..more to himself than anyone else.
Daichi broke the spell off when the bowl had the right amount of water and he then grabbed the oil to pour some in too. Now he had to wait.
He waited and looked..waited and looked..almost fell asleep and looked.
Was something spectacular suppose to happen? Daichi sighed as he stared in to his bowl of water and oil. Well he couldn't see a th... wait, what's that? Daichi jumped up from his seat and stared in to the bowl. It looked like a .. Axe? He wasn't sure because it also looked like a candle , not that those things looked the same... He decided to write down both of them , just in case.
