He accio'd some of her parchments and handed them over. Such a gentleman, no? "Hi Kurumi," he said, giving her a small smile, no need for sunglasses this time around. But wait, yes and no? "What do you mean?" he frowned. And why was Kurumi looking at her father's pictures in the first place?

"But it says Gaunt, you're Hollingberry," he pointed out, after reading the lines while she voiced them. Unless her father had a name change, of course, which can happen.

However, the 'Gaunt' family name...it sounded familiar.

He chuckled and shook his head as he moved an armchair closer to Kurumi and took a seat there, "Not just for Arithmancy," he said, shaking his head, "I like the library," even if it means that this is the last place he could ever dream of finding someone he enjoyed running into. "But, Numerology serves as a distraction," he gestured towards the book. Again, Hadley should be proud.

By the way, he pretended not to notice the change of colors her hair had all the while.
Th-Thank you,” Kurumi blushed as Treyen enchanted some of her papers to come back to her. Meanwhile, she gathered a few that had fallen at her feet and attempted to return them to a neat stack. After having done so, she set those down on the end table and returned her attention to Treyen.

Well, at least he had caught onto the names being different – while also stating the obvious. “And my father doesn’t look exactly like this man either,” she frowned pointing especially to his nose. “Father’s nose is a little different, as is his hair color…but the eyes and smile are the same.” Minus the innocence that this particular image was glazed over with.

Swallowing nervously, Kurumi set the book back down and gripped the edges of her gray skirt. She remembered the conversation she had had with Mrs. Elo during a Hogsmeade visit last term and what the woman had told her there. Kurumi needed proof that the elderly lady who rather enjoyed her firewhiskey wasn’t batty and had been telling the truth. Kurumi wasn’t sure the exact year it had happened, but she had two years’ worth of old Daily Prophets stacked to her right. Surely there was something in there about the…accident…or whatever it was that had happened to give the woman the impression that a Charles Edward Gaunt had been killed.

He changed his name,” she said as calmly as she could muster. “I-I don’t know why…father has never mentioned it to me…” Nor did he ever tell her that he was a Metamorphagus until she came home at the end of last term and practically threw a dictionary at his head for not saying anything. “But, look her,” she said pointing to his mini biography under his picture. “Metamorphagus and he became the official Ambassador to Asia.” Yep, and that he how he met her mother. She assumed this anyway. Her mother and father hardly ever spoke about how they met other than it was love at first sight.

Kurumi then arched an eyebrow at the Hufflepuff with the sparkly smile – she should have brought her sunglasses. She never took him for one to like the library. Then again, their surroundings did assure that he was the brightest thing in the room. Kurumi’s cheeks flushed a bit more at the thought. “Trying to study some more so you don’t have to copy off my paper?” she teased as she gave into the urge to stick her tongue out. She had to admit, she would be a bit sad if he stopped sitting next to her during Arithmancy. "Numerlogy is fascinating though."

Kurumi liked numbers. They were always stable and constant.
