Tayla stood up and took the things she needed. She had read about the Summoning Charm in books, but doubted she'd be able to do it. She did however, know how to fill the bowl with water from her wand. Tayla had done it in Potions.
"Aguamenti," she said, and water flowed out from her wand into the bowl. Tayla smiled. She loved magic. She then dropped a little oil into the bowl.
Tayla frowned a little as she tried to see any shapes on the surface of the oil.
"Um...I guess that blob there looks like an egg..." she checked the list uncertainly.
"Egg...so that's a good omen. New beginnings."
Tayla bit her lip.
"Well...I'm a first year so yeah, that's a new beginning..."
She stared into the bowl again. The egg blob was gone.
"Um...okay then..."
Tayla shrugged and looked around the classroom, wondering how her classmates were doing. Then she spotted the Slytherin boy from Potions class.

Chuckling he simply filled the bowl with water then took the olive oil vessel. Hving that in his hand and watching the light flicker on the settling water had his thoughts drifting elsewhere again, to a certain Gryffincess and their lovely summer vacation.

He tilted the vessel and let the oil trickle into the water, where it began to form blobs almost immediately. Putting the vessel down he stared at the bowl, watching the blobs do their thang.
