Cassie dropped Jaylon's leg when she heard another rather unfamiliar voice behind them. Great, the jig was up, they were busted and she might be put away for a looooooong time. She saw this coming but not this soon, Jaylon still didn't get to sit in the broom cupboard and think about his wrongs. She threw a look over at Brynn before turning slowly around to face who was there. Sixth year gryffindor prefect. She resisted the urge to frown, clearly she wouldn't take well to one of her own lying in a full body bind being dragged to the broom closet, but first she had to prove that was what they were doing.

She crossed her fingers behind her back, for Brynn and Chandler to see and was about to delve into an explanation when, lo and behold another prefect showed up. When it rained, it poured. Good thing it was only Finlay this time. (

This meant it was going to be a lot harder to bend the truth a little because Finlay had witnessed the earlier scenes between them in the garden.

"Well...." She looked down at Jaylon and frowned."We found him like this.." technically Brynn and Chandler did find him like this, so that was not entirely a lie, was it? Nope." And we were just taking him to the hospital wing to get him checked out and stuff...you know...looking out for each other and all that." She shrugged a little but kept her fingers crossed tightly behind her back. It was definitely a good thing Jaylon could not speak at the moment, it gave them time to escape.
