Simon looked to Jacob when the younger boy chose to speak back to not only a professor and the head of quidditch who had already removed him as captain, but his head of house and deputy headmaster. Ok so maybe that was part of the reason he himself had backed down figuring the man could do sooo much harm to him, he mused to himself as he looked back at the older Ravenclaw.
A though that was confirmed when Vindictus spoke about expulsion but simply changed his tune back to a more calm nature causing Simon to blink to make sure he was seeing things right. "Oh...um..oh course Professor," he said hesitantly with a nod once his voice returned. He continued to stay in place though until Peyton brought him back more and he turned to the Slytherin.
"You're welcome Peyton," he added watching her leave before moving closer to the broom rack, ready to help put it away once the last broom was back. His gaze returning once more to the fallen captain.
