Quickly turning back to face her friend in the eyes , CeCe answered with a adorable confused look that seemed determined."Si. I like him a lot..."A loud gulp could be heard as CeCe swallowed some of her fear back into her stomach...
"ButIdontwanttolosemyfriendshipwithyoubecauseofAdam ..Youremyonlyfriend."CeCe blurted out in a rush of words her tongue could barely keep up with herself..
Kurumi simply stood their looking at the girl who looked to be just as confused as she was in the current situation. Clearly, she had no idea Adam and her were...that they had been...
Kurumi wasn't even sure what they were any more. Did it even really matter? He was gone, somewhere far away, and was now holding regrets about how he had treated her...and why he had left...
Kurumi's heart felt like someone had punched another hole in it, larger than the first one and her eyes flicked to CeCe when she said that she, Kurumi, was her only friend in Hogwarts. Did the girl even know who she was? They had only spoken once or twice over the summer.
Another hole formed in her chest when CeCe said that she too liked Adam and she was reminded of a certain second year's vision. Was there any point now in hoping for something different? All the signs were pointing towards that future.
Though it pained her to say it, and she had to turn her gaze away from the other girl and look down at the ground, Kurumi gripped the letter tightly in her hands and swallowed back her tears long enough to be able to speak. "
I liked him," she whispered. "
I liked him so much that he became everything for me..." She paused just for a moment to pat her eyes with her sleeve. "
...no more...I can't do this anymore..."
