"That sounds delicious." She smiled in appreciation as she poured herself a cup and took her first sip. "Thank you." It was just as delicious as it sounded and smelled.
Smiling at the younger professor's enthusiasm, she reminisced on her own first lesson and then heard something of a Prayer Flower. She had no idea what that was. "There are flowers specific to prayers?" Fina asked, rather befuddled as she set her cup down on its saucer. More amusement, anyone?
Seren grinned broadly,
"You're most welcome."It was so nice to sit around the staff room and enjoy the company of her colleagues. It was the one thing she missed when she was on her field trips- the lack of human companionship.
As she took another sip of her tea, Seren was suddenly distracted by Fina's question. Well distracted was an understatment. Coughing slightly Seren tried to clear her throat of the tea that somehow managed to get lodged in her windpipes. Well this would be interesting.
"Not quite."
Brighteyed and thrilled she could discuss one of the most exotic marine plants known to wizard kind Seren turned her chair eagerly to face Fina.
"The Prayer Flower is one of the most beautiful water plants in the world, they usually grow in colonies between thirty to forty plants, and well..." here Seren trailed off a bit, she didn't quite know how to approach it without sounding crazy.
"... their latin term is Kedavra Nigra and occasionally they go by the name Instant Death... but are usually referred to as the Prayer Flower, because if you get too near to one then you'd best say you're prayers. They're deathly omnivorous."Seren smiled politely before taking another sip of her tea. Yes very dangerous, but incredibly beautiful. It would do the kids a wealth of good to be able to identify them. Especially if they like swimming.
