Electronic Arts has
launched a new competition whereby fans around the world (click here for
U.S./Canada and
Belgium members - more countries will be open soon) record a short video explaining why they love the
Harry Potter series, including the video game. The winner of the competition will receive a trip to the EA
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II studios on June 30th, where they'll get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the making of the games, and meet Tom Felton, as he states below. The new feature also includes new scenes from the final film's video game, featuring Draco, Goyle, and Zabini in the Room of Requirement, and Professor McGonagall giving Ginny, Seamus, and Neville an order during the war at Hogwarts.
The EA Play Label today announced the official kick-off of the “EA Reporters” competition, in which select fans will win a trip to EA’s UK-based Bright Light™ Studio to meet the development team behind the Harry Potter™ video games, as well as actor Tom Felton (who plays Draco Malfoy in the films)! Fans need only create a short, original video, highlighting both their love of the Harry Potter franchise and the video games, and then submit online. Finalists will be selected by an EA™ internal panel, and winners (as voted by the community) will receive the once-in-a-lifetime trip to get a behind the scenes look at their favorite franchise, as well as report on the development of the upcoming game. Originality and creativity are absolutely critical to success.
Details of the competition can be found at www.harrypotter.ea.com/facebook, along with submission instructions.
