Oh good one Mia. Just give the girl ideas, why don't you? Although it wouldn't have mattered if she was armed anyway. She didn't know how to defend herself which was pretty sad for a sixth year. With one last wary look at Evelyn, Mia climbed up the ladder.
When she reached the top, she placed her bag and the glass jar on the floor of the treehouse and then looked out the makeshift window before sticking her head back through the hole in the floor.
"Hey Ev!! Hurry up and get in here. The view is great."
