That would hopefully not take long, as she turned and picked up the crystal ball off the table behind her carefully before returning her attention to the class to hold it up so they could all see it better. “What is the first thing that comes to mind when you see this?,” she asked, before grinning a little as she looked at the glass herself. “I’m not going to bother asking if you even know what this is, but if that factors into your thoughts, I don’t mind.” She just had to hope the ideas weren’t too crazy, because she didn’t want to get distracted and drop the crystal ball. She didn’t have half as many of those as she did her Tarot cards, so replacements wouldn’t be as available. Finally settled in a seat, Jamie looked at the mysterious ball. Yes, he had seen something like that before. "It's a ball which tells the future." He didn't know the scientific term. Did it tell the past, too? Probably. But for now, it was just a ball. A magical ball. And he would have to wait a bit more to see what else it could do.
Divination....... was he going to add this to his list of impossible classes? It was too soon to tell. Quote:

Not only crystal balls can be used, in fact, for scrying. Does anyone want to suggest something else that could be used?” Eventually they would get to the actual activity she had planned, but touching on scrying was always in her plans. Everything was related when it came to Divination anyhow.[/COLOR] What on Earth was scrying?
Hearing the word 'reflection', the third years first thought was, "water..?" Because that reflected things that were near it. Jamie scratched his head, feeling like the class was moving too fast. Why did everyone else know what scrying meant, but he didn't? Yes, the Professor had mentioned the meaning slightly but he was still confused.
Definitely adding this class to that list, too.
