Sad? Yes, but very intriguing nonetheless.

Ellie looked at him sideways and laughed a little awkwardly. "Well I certainly hope you don't go suicidal, Theo. It would be a tragic loss." Heh. And Ellie would have to use her crazy awesome Whomping Willow super powers to save his life, just like she did with Hyun. 'Cause she was that awesome. The brunette beamed when the boy said he loved chess. "Really? We may have to play in the common room sometime, I'm always looking for a good competition." She said with a mischievous smile. Ah, yes. Gobstones. "Mm, I never got into that game. I'm not to fond of the squirting ink." Ellie said with a light laugh. And it just seemed a tad boring to her. "Yeah! There's actually a gobstones club. I don't know when they meet or if it's already started, but lots of people love it." She said with a nod.
"Do you have a favorite?" Shifting into bookworm mode, an intrigued smile lit up the sixth year's fair-hued face. "I mean, I know a lot of girls tend to like Romeo and Juliet... no offense if you do," He glanced at the ground momentarily, hoping he hadn't said the wrong thing, "But I like Macbeth. It used to terrify me, with the witches and all of the blood, but I grew to appreciate it... eventually." He laughed lightly and pushed a few rebellious curls from his forehead, glad to be able to make fun of his childish fears, for once.

He couldn't help but grin. "Tragic, really?" He simpered in a faux, playful manner. "Aw, dear Ellie, I'm touched." Theodore promptly snorted, bringing his left hand to cover his mouth. It was a bit too humorous to act like a proper prude. If only dear little Dumble knew about his predecessor, dapper Deus. "That would be great. I've never really had competition from people my own age before." He promptly took a mental note on that gobstone club. "That's excellent. Maybe it'll wean my friends off of pushing me to try-out for quidditch..." He couldn't help but shudder at that notion; heights frightened him.
