Thanks guys! Here's the next little part!
“Seneca, I need you to calm down.” Remus said. He put his hands on my shoulders. I sat back in the seat as he kneeled, eye level, in front of me. “What was your dream about?”
“I saw the night my brother died. And… and my mother was passed out. I ran into the street. And my dad turned to me and said…” I spoke between sobs.
“Ok, just relax. You’re father’s in Azkaban and no one’s ever broke out of there. You’re safe.”
I nodded my head, but I still didn’t feel relaxed. I put my head in my hands and leaned on my legs. I could feel Emily and Lily sit down on either side of me. Seeing that everything seemed to be ok, some of the kids had dispersed back to their dormitories. Sirius and James moodily pushed past some first year kids, ho were climbing back up the stairs.
“What the hell is going on?”
James fixed his lopsided glasses and ruffled his already messy hair. Meanwhile Sirius blinked between me and Remus.
“Seneca?”
“I’m fine.” I stated, though I didn’t even convince myself. Lily stood up to stand next to James.
“No, Seneca, you’re not.” said Remus.
“We should tell professor Dumbledore.” said Emily from beside me.
“And say what? That I had some crazy dream about my murderer of a father?”
“It could mean something.” Replied Emily. “Remember in divination…?”
“I don’t think she’s been listening in that class lately.” Piped up Sirius. Remus cracked a smile in front of me, but it quickly faded at my glare.
“Look, it probably means nothing.” I said. “I’m sorry I woke you. You should probably get back to bed.”
“Are you sure?” asked Lily gently.
I nodded before Remus said, “Take her upstairs with you. The couch isn’t all that comfortable.”
Emily took my arm. Behind me the three boys exchanged nervous glances. Lily kissed James good-night, then walked behind me up the stairs to the dormitory.
How was that??
