"I'm Zara, Danielle Zara Griffiths; a first year this term. I was hoping if you could help me find a book. Anything about runes, just about anything which can help me translate words into runes." She smiled hopefully at the librarian.

Madam Donovan watched on as the two girls got to know one another. When it seemed like they were finished chit-chatting, she cleared her throat to speak.
"You'll find Ancient Runes books in the Language section of the Library. Spellman's Syllabary is there, along with Ancient Runes Made Easy. I'd start there first," she said, pointing them in the right direction.
She was considering taking the girls over herself when
someone called out her name....

She was!
"Oi, Donovan!"
Kimber glared - though it did little to hide her smile - and held a single finger up to her lips.
"Shhhh, Chad! I've told you before. The children are here to study," she said, walking out from behind her desk.
When she was standing in front of him, she shook her head and pulled on his sleeve.
"Besides, if you want something, I can hear you fine over here," she smirked, giving him a tug towards the other side of her desk.
