"When one does not know what it is, then it is something;
but when one knows what it is, then it is nothing." Isobel grinned; YAY SHE GOT IT RIGHT! She was happy that she had actually gotten a riddle right. She happily walked to the front and got a chocolate frog. She would save it for later.
Isobel thought about the next riddle. When one does not know what it is, then it is something; but when one knows what it is, then it is nothing. First of all, the language was confusing. Isobel tried to translate it in to something she would understand. What did no one know, and loose its value when it was known? The first thing that popped in to her head was a secret. It certainly made sense. She raised her hand.
"Is it a secret Lady Rosamund?" She asked.
"When a secret is unknown it is a secret. But when it is known, it is not a secret anymore." That made sense to her, hopefully it would make sense to the pretty sphinx too.
